- LNI members attended a two-day conference in the UK, from May 12th–13th, which was followed by a group trip, by boat on the River Thames, seeing some of the sites to London.
Some of the network members were able to stay for an additional three days, with the UK team, which proved to be a productive and spiritually enriching experience for all involved.
Remembering how John Singleton invested deeply in people and communities, we were all challenged on the importance of putting words into action, and left with the clear understanding that it’s Important to hold firm on the baton and continue God’s Kingdom work.
Significant discussions centred around the continuing need to create space for the next generation, acknowledging the importance of both emerging leaders and veterans in building and maintaining long-term, sustainable leadership and impact.
During the sessions, LNI members took opportunity to also shared life stories and scriptural reflections. - Travel Update: On May 21st, when returning to Freetown, and due to a health-related delay at the boarding gate, Prince Tommy Williams, LNP Director, missed his flight but, thanks to the support of the LNI leadership team, he arrived home safely to Sierra Leone two days later.
