The Nehemiah Home remains a safe and nurturing environment where children, resident and community-based, receive love, care, education and personal development support.
Three of our Nehemiah family members and friends Rebecca Bangura, James Sam, and Mamie Kamara started their Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) on June 25th, their hard work and determination was a tribute to them, and ongoing encouragement to us all, daily.
We were recently blessed to receive a generous donation of 10 bags of rice and 3 packets of cornflour from the Lanyi Foundation, and during the handover Mr Mustapha Massaquoi, the project coordinator, reflected in saying, “Mr Williams, during the Ebola crisis I was directly affected. Your role in the Kuntorloh community and in my life remains unforgettable. Lifeline has continued to serve where others have faded. You’ve built a model of sustainability” – and in response, on behalf of the LNP leadership, Prince Tommy Williams sincerely thanked the Lanyi Foundation for their heartfelt support with food items.
