Academic & Infrastructure Development
The leadership of Nehemiah Home and its residents are awaiting results for the BECE examinations taken by some of the family members.
Despite the challenge of current funding constraints the reconstruction of the girls’ quarters, which suffer from significant, annually-recurring leaking issues, is under way and some progress has been made, with the hope of completing the project by November this year, when we will report back to you with more detailed about the associated plans, together with lots of photographs – so stay connected!
Ongoing Projects
The construction of cesspit-linked toilets for use by the Nursery children continues, aimed at improving sanitation and hygiene standards within the Nehemiah Home and the school itself.
Future Planning
Despite the many current challenges, the leadership is optimistic about a successful ending to 2025, and its plans for the year 2026 in alignment with the ongoing development initiatives.
