BLOOD DONATION & MOBILISATION

To combat haemorrhage, a leading cause of maternal and neonatal mortality, LNP has expanded its community-driven blood donation network, since 2019, across Freetown, at Princess Christian Maternity Hospital (PCMH) and Rokupa Government Hospital, and also in Port Loko, Kono and Kenema, with plans to further include Moyamba, Bo, Koinadugu and Kambia.
In recent donation events, across Freetown, Kenema and Kono, more than 120 voluntary donors responded, boosting our capacity to support maternal health and save more lives at the community level.
