During the September and October of this 2025 school year, bursaries were awarded to 47 of our 2YoungLives mentees across 12 project sites, bursaries enabling the beneficiaries to return to school, enrol in technical/vocational training or start small business ventures that support their skills development and economic empowerment – here you can see two of our bursary beneficiaries, Mabinty Kamara & Hassanatu Kamara.
We are also very pleased to announce that 2YoungLives has been awarded a £40,000 grant from a grant-giving charity, funding which will enable the program to mentor an additional 120 girls and their babies across our 12 project sites, and to organize a national training convention in 2026 to strengthen the capacity and collaboration of all our mentors.
