EDUCATION: Investing in Young People

In September the management team successfully reopened our schools for the 2025/2026 academic year,  alongside strong support from the parents and with the commitment of the students themselves, and we’re pleased to be able to say the Nursery, Primary, Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary sections are now fully operational.

On 29th October, the Government of Sierra Leone released the 2025 BECE results with much joy for many of the students and parents concerned but, though remaining optimistic, some of the Nehemiah Home boys and girls and other LNP students are still waiting their results next week.

Although the unprofessional conduct of police officers from the Kissy Police Division and the Approved School Police Post disrupted school operations for two days, we are pleased to be able to say the situation has now stabilised and normal activities have resumed on campus, with the exception of the continuing issues that involve the piece of land currently subjected to land encroachment and human rights violations, more details of which are given below.
