Lifeline and its partners continue to support pregnant women with respectful antenatal care (ANC) access, engaging with the various community stakeholders, and conducting educational programs covering such issues as pre-eclampsia, high blood pressure, and placental growth factor (PlGF).
Some community members previously attributed these symptoms to spiritual attacks or evil forces but, working closely with communities and local health workers, Lifeline and it partners are continuing to save lives through the proliferation of accurate information and timely care.
