Since September 2025 until now, LNP has faced serious challenges related to the Lifeline playing field which more than 30 community schools use for athletic and other recreational activities, serving over 30,000 people, the population of Kuntorloh community.
The forceful building on this Lifeline playing field, involving the Ministry of Social Welfare under the leadership of Mrs Melrose Kaminty, the minister of that government department, continues despite an existing High Court injunction concerning the legal ownership of that piece of land.
The situation escalated to the point of including police brutality, unlawful arrest, unlawful detention, human rights abuses and attempted interference by said Minister with the judicial process against the LNP Executive Director, Prince Tommy Williams, however although attempts were made to revoke bail, the court upheld justice and bail was maintained bail.
Further details include the unlawful detention of the LNP Executive Director by the CID from December 15-18th, and the matter remains in court, with the next sitting scheduled for January 15th.
LNP continues to stand firmly against injustice, human rights violations and corruption, whilst continuing to seek additional resources to sustain its legal defence.
