UK Visit
Despite enormous distractions and, at times, unnecessary challenges in the preceding months, events that sought to even undermine the vision and mission of Lifeline Nehemiah Projects, it is with a sense of great joy and victory that we can share that the Executive Director of Lifeline Nehemiah Projects, Prince Tommy Williams, together with his wife, Mary Williams, were finally able to travel to the UK on January 19th.
However even that trip was not without challenge because, on arrival at the Freetown International Airport, Prince and Mary were greeted at the check-in desk with, “Mr & Mrs Williams, your tickets are not in the system” but finally, after a little over one hour, through the intervention of Jamie Singleton, Naomi Sandy and a senior member of the airline staff, the matter was properly resolved and they were allowed to proceed and board their direct flight to London.
Reflecting on the visit, Prince Tommy stated, “It has been refreshing to spend time with like-minded people at Lifeline Church in the UK. The strong sense of family has been evident and has made a significant difference; we are returning home, energised and refreshed.” Bottom of Form
Professional Award:
It was a proud moment for Lifeline Nehemiah Projects when Prince Tommy Williams was recognised as one of the Top 100 Professionals in Sierra Leone for 2025 at the National Professional Awards Ceremony, held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Freetown.
Following the ceremony, Prince Tommy dedicated the award to his wife, Mary, for being his true and faithful supporter, to their children, Princess, Francess, Hans and John, for showing understanding during difficult times, and also expressed his appreciation to the Nehemiah Home boys and girls and the LNP staff for their continued resilience and commitment to LNP’s vision and it’s dedication to the ongoing work of nation building work.
