LEGAL & HUMAN RIGHTS ISSUES UPDATE

Following on from our previous updates, the matter before the High Court remains pending and, since June 13th we have been awaiting the Judge’s decision regarding the next hearing date.
Meanwhile, the matter before the Magistrate Court is still ongoing, although our legal counsel has submitted an application of No Case Submission requesting the court to dismiss the case brought against Mohamed Turay, since the prosecution has closed their case.
We remain committed to following the judicial process and continue to place our trust in the rule of law despite the numerous challenges.
