Lifeline Nehemiah Home

Some of the Nehemiah Home boys and girls were able to visit their relatives during the Christmas holiday break, while the others spent their holiday time around the home and had the opportunity to go out with their friends. The time spent together celebrating Christmas was a good family occasion, and most certainly well worth it!

Those who went on holiday have returned safely and everyone has now resumed either their school activities, their skills training or their university courses.

The support of our partners and friends enabled us to purchase “holiday clothes” – shoes and clothing of their choice – and to buy and prepare food for special Christmas and New Year meals for the boys and girls. We were also able to pay some more school and university tuition fees, and most importantly during the holiday period, we made a concerted decision to spend quality time with those Nehemiah Home boys and girls who were not able to go away on holiday.
