Over 100 young people graduated with technical skills in Hospitality, Plumbing, ICT and Electrical Installation, many of whom having already secured regular employment before their graduation.
Notable success stories include:
- Miss Tenneh Rogers, who trained in Plumbing and is now employed at the Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority (EDSA)
- Miss Aminata Kargbo, an Electrical Installation graduate, who is now working with JDec Electrical Consultants
To truly appreciate these successes, it should be explained that these young ladies overcame significant personal and social challenges in order to succeed in this way, and in doing so they are a real inspiration to other, similar young people, encouraging them to pursue vocational training.
