According to the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Ministry of Health and Sanitation, it is reported that Haemorrhage – postpartum bleeding – remains a major contributor to maternal mortality in Sierra Leone.
With this in mind LNP, in partnership with Vincent, a PhD student at Stanford University, successfully mobilised multiple donors, across 9 different communities, in donating more than 100 units of blood.
This initiative underscores our commitment to putting into action our health-changing, life-saving dream, and we are continuing our efforts to mobilise even more donors across even more districts in Sierra Leone.
