GENERAL UPDATES

In collaboration with our partners from the UK, it is with great pleasure that we announce the celebration of Lifeline Nehemiah Projects’ 30th Anniversary on April 4th – watch this space for a full report of the celebrations in our next newsletter – but in short, since 1992 Lifeline has consistently impacted individuals, families and communities, directly reaching over 20,000 people.

Despite these milestones, we remain concerned about recent incidents involving the Kissy Police Division and the Approved School Police, which resulted in human rights abuses, including the indiscriminate use of tear gas and arrests in the Kuntorloh community.
Lifeline has taken this matter to the High Court and remains firmly committed to the rule of law and the pursuit of justice.
To date, Prince Tommy Williams and Mohamed Turay have been scheduled on numerous occasions to attend court to face concocted charges, yet to be proven in the court, but on each occasion the event has been adjourned.
