Mentors, coordinators and some of the pioneering members of 2YoungLives joined staff and guest members of Lifeline Nehemiah Projects to celebrate its 30th Anniversary Celebrations, and one of the highlights of the reunion was time spent reminiscing about our first contact with 2YoungLives during their community engagement meetings.
Over the years, the program’s impact has been profound, supporting hundreds of adolescent girls who, due to teen pregnancy, have faced family rejection, stigma and school dropout.
Immediately after the celebrations, the team travelled to the provinces for a new recruitment drive, connecting with and enrolling girls as young as 14.
