PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTHS OF 2026

LNP has identified several immediate priorities for the remainder of this year, including:

  • completion of the Nehemiah Girls accommodation block
  • completing the fencing of the Lifeline compound, and its entire learning environment, to improve security and limit unauthorised access and the potential for theft within the compound
  • fundraising for the next academic year, particularly to support the operations of the Betteh Tumara Technical Vocational Institute and the Junior Secondary School, specifically because the current economic situation in Sierra Leone is leaving parents or families financially handicapped, and unable to support their children and young people as they would like
  • implementation of the Feed and Give Hope to 100 Disadvantaged Children campaign, taking place in December, dedicated to “put smile on the faces of 100 children”, and the organisation would welcome donations of toys, clothing, food items and financial support, all of which will be used to support needy, disadvantaged children in the Kuntorloh and Wellington communities, helping bring a glimmer of hope and joy into their lives.
