The 2YL initiative, dedicated to empowering adolescent girls through pregnancy, safe birth, and into motherhood, is continuing its community-based program designed to help these young women gain self-confidence, to reintegrate with their families, to return to school, to access antenatal, delivery and postnatal healthcare, to receive life-skills training and obtain help in establishing microbusiness support.
The boys and girls supported through this family-based, Nehemiah Home program, residents and non-residents alike, are all currently fully engaged in their education and career development opportunities whilst continuing to receive the regular, ongoing mentorship – our focus remains that of fostering their personal growth and providing essential physical, mental and spiritual support.
